Nigerian musician and politician, Bankole Wellington, popularly known as Banky W, has dismissed reports that he signed White Money as an artiste to Empire Mates Entertainment.
It was reported in September that White Money, a winner of Big Brother Naija, bagged a music deal with EME.
However, in a recent interview on Hot FM Lagos, Banky W revealed that he did not sign the reality TV star.
He explained that EME transitioned from being a record label to becoming a media and marketing agency in 2017.
Banky W said that the company only helped White Money to get an ambassadorial deal with a company it consults for.
He said that it was purely an influencer deal for one of the corporate brands that EME works with.
