Chris Brown Sued for $20 Million Over Allegedly Drugging and Raping Woman on Yacht

Chris Brown is facing a $20 million lawsuit from a woman alleging that he raped her in 2020.

Court documents obtained by Sources allege Brown drugged and raped an unnamed woman on Dec. 30, 2020. The assault allegedly happened on a yacht that was parked at Diddy’s Star Island estate in Florida.

According to the lawsuit, Brown invited the victim over to Diddy’s house after overhearing her speaking on FaceTime with a friend who was with Brown. Brown claimed he knew that the Victim was an artist and he had heard her music.

The lawsuit goes on to state that once she arrived, Chris offered her a drink in the kitchen on the yacht, which he later filled a second time. The two spoke on her music and Brown offered advice on how to navigate a career in the industry.

The woman then began to experience “a sudden, unexplained change in consciousness,” and felt “disoriented, physically unstable, and started to fall in and out of sleep.“

The suit then alleges that Brown took her into a bedroom on the boat, shut the door behind them, took off the bottoms of her swimsuit and began kissing her, despite her attempting to tell him to stop. Chris allegedly then proceeded to rape her.

The following day, on New Year’s Eve, Brown contacted her and insisted that she use Plan B in order to terminate any potential pregnancy, which she claims she did.

This would not be the first time that the ‘Beautiful People’ singer would be caught up in this sort of situation.

Chris Brown has had several legal entanglements in the past, most famously including his assault of his then-girlfriend Rihanna.

In the early hours of February 8, 2009, he got into an argument with the Work singer that ended with him assaulting her badly enough to require her hospitalization.

He was charged with felony assault and making criminal threats the following month, initially pleading not guilty, before pleading guilty to a single felony count.

He was ordered to serve five years of probation, community service and counseling for domestic violence.
