The 2022 African Women Cup Of Nations (WAFCON) third-place match between the Super Falcons of Nigeria and Copper Queens of Zambia will kick off at 21:00 GMT.

The Super Falcons will lock horns with the Copper Queens this Friday, July 22nd 2022 at the Stade Mohammed V Stadium in Casablanca, Morocco to decide the winners.

This will be the Super Falcons’ final game of their failed title defence after Randy Waldrum’s women lost their semifinal game to hosts Morocco in a penalty shootout despite losing two players to red cards in the second half.

Despite the disappointment of losing out on La Decima, the Super Falcons are expected to give their all on the pitch as they have always done.

Although their best was not enough against Morocco, it may just be enough to clinch third place.

A win to get coach Randy Waldrum’s Ladies feeling good again whilst taking an honour back home would be great and will no doubt be their aim.
