He has previously served as the As a Class Representative and also as TASK FORCE CHAIRMAN as a Senator at the 35th Hallowed Chamber of the School and he has been a driving force behind several successful initiatives aimed at enhancing the student experience at OOU while his ability to organize and mobilize students has earned him a reputation as a unifying figure on campus.
Senator Pizzle’s campaign is centered around a comprehensive platform that addresses the most pressing issues facing OOU students and He is committed to enhancing the welfare of students by advocating for affordable accommodation, improved healthcare services, and increased access to scholarships and grants.
Also, Ensuring the safety of students is a top priority for Senator Pizzle. He intends to collaborate with campus security personnel and local law enforcement to create a safer environment for all.

It is with great enthusiasm and a deep commitment to our beloved student community that I *OGUNSANYA BAMIDELE PETER p.k.a SEN PIZZLE* humbly announce my candidacy for the position of the 36th Student Union Government (SUG) President. I approach this opportunity with humility and a profound sense of responsibility, seeking your support and trust as we collectively embark on a journey toward a more excellent and inclusive university experience.
*My Vision:*
I firmly believe that the role of SUG President extends beyond mere representation; it encompasses the creation of a positive and progressive environment where every student can thrive academically, socially, and personally. My vision for our university is one where each student feels heard, valued, and supported throughout their academic journey. I am dedicated to fostering a culture of collaboration, transparency, and innovation that enhances our overall campus experience.
*Leadership and Experience*:
Throughout my academic journey, I have actively assumed various leadership roles, equipping me with the essential skills and insights needed to effectively represent the student body. As a Class Representative, I successfully conveyed students’ concerns, collaborating with the faculty to bring about positive changes in our curriculum and learning environment.
Furthermore, as the *Media Personnel of the Ay Eco Led Administration during the 19/20 Academic Session (Faculty of Education),* I honed my ability to facilitate constructive discussions and create an environment that encourages the free exchange of ideas. This experience has taught me the significance of respectful dialogue and the value of considering diverse perspectives.
I also had the privilege of serving as the *PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER* of the Faculty of Education under the *Sen. Focus Led Administration during the 20/21 Academic Session.* My dedication to the welfare and well-being of students has been a constant drive, from my early days as a 100-level student.
I also served as a senator in the *35th Hallowed chamber* under the constituency of my faculty and also served as the *TASK FORCE CHAIRMAN* of the School where I was able to work with my colleagues to ease the cost of printing and withdrawal during the naira scarcity.
*My Initiatives*:
Should I have the honor of being elected as SUG President, my primary focus will revolve around the following initiatives:
*Enhanced Academic Support*: I will collaborate closely with faculty executives to ensure students receive comprehensive academic support and access to necessary resources, ultimately promoting academic excellence.
*Student Welfare and Safety*: I will actively advocate for the enhancement of campus facilities, including improved security measures, safe transportation options, and accessible healthcare services.
*Promoting Diversity and Inclusion*: Celebrating the rich diversity of our student body is my mission, and I am committed to creating an inclusive environment where every student feels respected and well-represented.
*Skills Development Programs*: I will partner with industry professionals to organize workshops, seminars, and skill-building programs, better equipping students for their future careers.
*Environmental Sustainability*: Environmental awareness and sustainability are paramount. I pledge to implement sustainable practices on campus and raise awareness about environmental issues in our student community.
*Strengthening Student-Administration Relations*: I will foster open communication channels with university authorities to address student grievances promptly and efficiently.
