Following their 2-1 defeat away at Bayern Munich on Tuesday, Barcelona are set to host Elche at the Camp Nou this weekend in their bid to get back to winning ways.
Xavi Hernandez’s men played well in Germany, but they paid for their lack of a clinical touch in front of goal and registered their first defeat in an official game this season.
Their loss to Bayern Munich came after four consecutive victories, in which the Blaugrana netted a total of 16 goals.
As for Elche, they’ve gotten off to a slow start this season, losing four of their first five LaLiga Santander games. Coach Francisco’s side have yet to register a win this term, having conceded 13 goals and scored only two.
