Manchester United will begin their 2021/22 FA Cup campaign on Monday night when they host Aston Villa in the third round of the competition.
Man United will be looking to use the Villa game as an opportunity to bounce back from their lacklustre 1-0 defeat to Wolves in the Premier League on Monday night, and United have a strong history against the Villains in the FA Cup – winning 10 of their last 12 FA Cup meetings.
With United currently sitting outside of the top four and eliminated from the Carabao Cup, the FA Cup seems the Reds’ best chance of winning silverware this season, with United last winning the competition in the 2015/16 season under Louis van Gaal.
