Liverpool are in Italy tonight to meet Inter Milan in the first leg of their heavyweight Champions League last-16 tie.
The Reds reached successive finals under Jurgen Klopp in 2018 and 2019, losing to Real Madrid in the first before beating Tottenham, but have not been beyond the quarter-finals in their two campaigns since.
After a perfect group stage in which they won all six of their games to top what had looked a tough group when the draw was made, Klopp’s men come into this clash as firm favourites against an Inter side who are locked in a thrilling three-way title battle in Serie A.
